Meow

I wanted to pick out a nice picture of the cats – one of each – but there were too many that I couldn’t resist so I went with a few of each. These photos were all taken this summer as the cats enjoyed nature.

People who don’t know them get them mixed up mostly because they’re both grey and fluffy. They’re not related though and they are, in fact, very different from each other.

The younger one, the one I still call the kitten although he’s no kitten any more, is a small cat under all that fluffy hair. The elder one has always been a big heavy cat but he’s a bit diminished now that he’s aging.

As all cats do, they have very distinctive and interesting personalities. They don’t like each other much but they do tolerate each other.

The older cat is called Grizzly. The “kitten” is called Junior.

The three pictures above the rose are Grizzly. The three below the rose are Junior.
